This is the story of the Little family. Hugh Laurie is the dad, Geena Davis is the mom, and Jonathan Lipnicki is George. George is their only child. The movie starts with the Little parents going to an orphanage to a adopt a new child. George doesn’t want an older brother or sister; he really wants a little brother. His wishes totally came true—like way more then he expected them to. His parents come home with Stuart who is a young talking mouse. George is really mad. He isn’t the only one that is upset about it. The family cat Snowbell is even more unhappy then George is. He is afraid that all his cat friends will find out that he has a mouse living in his home as one of his masters.
The story is all about how the family learns to accept and love each other. Stuart Little was cute. I thought the movie was really funny. The mouse is adorable. Snowbell (Nathan Lane) is the coolest cat ever! I loved him! He is just so cute and squishable! His accent is fun!
Hugh Laurie is perfect for the role he takes in the movie. He is a really good and perfect dad. It was actually kind of annoying. He and Geena Davis are this whole perfect couple with matching clothes and everything. Hugh Laurie is the only person that I can see playing George and Stuart’s dad. So, hey, I guess he did a really good job. Oh, he does this role without his accent. He sounds different from House though. He sounds different in every role he plays. I like that about him!
